I am the heart and soul of ICE CALLIGRAPHY + DESIGN. My love for calligraphy began in childhood, but it was rekindled in 2016. While studying Industrial Product Design at ITU, I realized that this passion could become a career, which led me into the beautiful world of graphic design and calligraphy. In December 2019, I founded ICE CALLIGRAPHY + DESIGN (formerly known as ICE LETTERING). After completing my Master’s degree in Graphic Design in Florence, Italy, in 2021, I expanded my brand with unique products such as invitations that elegantly blend watercolor and calligraphy, as well as bespoke calligraphy and watercolor designs. At the same time, I continued sharing my expertise through courses in modern calligraphy and watercolor.

 

Aware of the environmental impact caused by paper usage—one of the few downsides of this craft—I make regular tree donations. I am especially sensitive about children’s education and animal rights; you may have already guessed that from the two cats you sometimes see in my classes and posts :)

 

This journey led me to study Art History at Ege University in 2025. As I work toward expanding my brand globally, I believe that combining my cultural background and design discipline with the perspective of art history will allow me to build a stronger creative identity.
